A Turkish Feast at Efendy restaurant in Balmain with acclaimed chef Somer Sivrioglu who will showcase the many delicious flavours of the Gaziantep region where the world’s best pistachios are grown, and the dry desert air preserves eggplant and capsicum which intensifies their flavour. Each of the courses is matched with sensational Turkish wine; we’ll have a demonstration of how the delicious kebabs of the region are cooked over charcoal and finish with a wild pistachio coffee and air-freighted pistachio baklava from Imam Cagdas – one of the exceptional places we visit on our Safari to Turkey.
