Cypriot Breakfast Safari


The stylish Barzaari Restaurant in Marrickville is the perfect place to learn and taste some classic Cypriot dishes, served with panache from founder and head chef Darryl Martin and team. Expect some delicious sesame studded koulouria, the Greek Easter bread flaounes, house cured olives (the whole family cracks each and every green olive!) pickles, fresh vegetables, fried haloumi, dips, eggs, cured Cypriot pork loin and beef – a real speciality made by a family member to a treasured recipe) plus pomegranate cocktail on arrival, Cypriot coffee, falafel, watermelon, mint and stringy haloumi salad, loukoumades and a few surprises.  It’s a glorious morning of flavour, tradition and deliciousness.
