Byron Bay and its lush hinterland is literally heaven on earth; the beaches are long and pristine, the rainforest and farmland is magnificent – the rich volcanic soil perfect for growing a huge range of fruit and vegetables…which makes it a perfect place to explore, meet some inspiring locals and taste some of the best the region has to offer.
We stay in luxurious accommodation at the new resort right on Belongil Beach – Elements of Byron – where you can start the day with a long beach walk, a swim or yoga on the headland overlooking the stretch of sand. Each day is filled with simply perfect moments… you’ll meet people who have created lush gardens and farms from nothing, people who grow exceptional produce including a visit to a true Garden of Eden, a couple who created their own rainforest and make some very cool gin from the berries they grow; talented chefs and visits to some of the top restaurants and a great local produce market… plus some time for you to unwind, enjoy a spa treatment or laze by the pool. We want to give you a real taste of one of our favourite places.

K and I thoroughly enjoyed the Byron Bay tour and can’t recommend it highly enough - as we have already done with family and friends. The accommodation was first class and couldn’t be better, as was all of the tours, food, wine and especially Mick our driver who went above and beyond what was required......We really appreciated your attention making sure that everyone was comfortable and that as a group we all enjoyed each other’s company. We look forward to our next tour - K&M ...................I had a wonderful time on the Byron Gourmet Safari. Who knew that area had so much goodness to offer. It really is a lush piece of foodie paradise indeed. I really enjoyed the mix of meeting those working so hard on farms producing the amazing produce and then of course eating at the fabulous restaurants you picked for us. There really is a great vibe up there of appreciating fresh local produce and doing all you can to showcase it via the table...I had a very soft spot for Palissa and Amy and thought they kicked things off so very well. To eat ‘thai style’ under a tin roof with a fire burning and chickens free ranging reminded me so much of the simplicity of how Thais enjoy their food. No fuss but so fresh and flavoursome and made with buckets of love and care……I’d do it all again in a heartbeat and thank you so much for putting together such a fantastic experience for us. The connections you make with people and then share with us is just wonderful -thank you Maeve - MP
