Eastwood is the perfect slice of Korea…one side of the station is Chinese, the other side is a Korean village with shops stocking all the authentic ingredients, many of which are not labelled in English. We plunge into the vibrant heart of Little Korea for a guided journey with Korean cooking teacher Heather Jeong. We start with a Korean tea and cooking demonstration then learn the building blocks of this delicious, healthy cuisine, discovering butchers and bakers, fresh produce shops and more. Learn about bulgogi and the Korean style of barbecuing which is easy to do at home; banchan – the many vegetable side dishes, delicious sashimi, unusual Korean cakes, even beauty products! We finish with a many course lunch at the top restaurant in the area.
Tour meets in Eastwood.

We
want
to
thank
Heather,
Erica
and
Suzy
for
a
wonderful
Korean
Safari.
We
had
a
lot
of
fun
and
also
enjoyed
a
relaxing
day.
I
was
not
very
familiar
with
Korean
cuisine
whilst
my
husband
is
very
familiar
with
Korean.
The
standard
of
the
food
we
got
to
try
was
outstanding.
One
of
the
best
Korean
BBQ
experiences
for Rob
who
has
travelled to
Korea
a
lot
for
work.
The
shopping
was
a
lot
of
fun
and
we
have
already
cooked
3
Korean
meals
just
in
the
last
36
hours
in
our
house.
Our
3
year
old
LOVES
the
garlic
chive
pancakes.
Heather
made
the
cooking
look
so
easy
but
it
actually
really
is
straight
forward
so
long
as
you
buy
the
correct
ingredients
and
follow
her
lovely
recipe
as
there
is
no
chance
in
our
house
that
we
can
understand anything
that
is
written
on
the
packaging :‐)
It
was
my
3rd
Walking
Safari,
whilst it
was
my
husband's
4th
Safari.
We
can
only
hope
that
Santa
will
bring
us
some
more
vouchers
this
Christmas
as
we
want
to
experience
all
of
them!!
Every
Safari
has
been
unique
and
very
enjoyable.
Thanks
again
for
another
fabulous
day!!
Warm
regards,
- Suzie
&
Rob
