Join us for a day of sunshine and warm welcomes from our hosts who range from Italian, Cypriot, Portuguese and Maltese. Mediterranean flavours without the long distance flight.
We start with a good Italian coffee at our friends Paesanella who make fresh Italian cheese every day, taste just made ricotta, bocconcini and oh so heavenly burrata. Journey into the Cypriot heartland for dips and a range of fabulous olives – the jumbo green olives are superb! plus Cypriot specialties and ingredients; see olive bread made; then visit the Italian deli of your dreams for prosciutto and parmesan; see Maltese pastizzi made by hand and cooked fresh in all their flakey golden deliciousness before visiting our favourite Portuguese smokehouse and finally lunch – salad, handmade gnocchi and a glass of wine. Magnificent fun day!
