Happy 2025 and Happy Chinese New Year in the Year of the Snake – I do love the message of renewal and transformation connected with the snake year…shedding their skin to grow and explore. Lovely to still be chatting with you in our newsletter in this our 27th year of business…a full year of travel and adventure ahead. We are very fortunate to be doing what we love! French Safari – Last minute spaces on our deliciously generous big French day out – our French Safari on this Saturday 8th February is full of everything to touch your heart.
Marrickville Safari – we have 2 spaces on this full day exploring some of the hidden and delicious businesses in Marrickville starting with one of our favourite coffee roasters; Italian soft cheese including the man you brought burrata to Australia; the brilliant ethical butchery Feather and Bone, lunch at Lucky Prawn, a behind the scenes visit to Messina with lots of tastes…and a gorgeous gin and tonic at Poor Tom’s new stylish venue to round out the day – Thursday 20 February.

Beach Safari |

| After 2 intense summers of hard work we have closed our South Coast food destination, Beach Safari.
Staffing has just been too hard. We were helped by so many friends and family to create many memorable evenings, lunches by the beach, great coffee and more but…to do the best we needed ongoing staff and the model simply was not sustainable in a “remote” area.
This year is full of travel and other great projects so it’s onwards and upwards. All the best for the year ahead Maeve & Suzy |
