Hi Suzy,
My husband and 2 friends and I would like to say how delighted we were to be able to go on the French adventure with Alex and our bus driver Ali today. Alex is so knowledgeable and charming and Ali is an awesome driver, we had an amazing day.
We learnt so many new things from Michael about the French pastries and bread and the way they are made, and from Sogna about the beautiful cheeses and their origins, and how to store and care for our own cheeses. David Bitton at his restaurant was such an amazing person to listen to and very playful as well. He even surprised us with an extra dish of mulled wine poached pear, and ice cream and crumble, which we were told is never normally served. This was a special for Bastille Day.
I came on the tour from a recommendation from a fellow work colleague who did the same tour a few months ago and I will be certainly spreading the word of how fabulous it is.
Thank you all again for such a magnificent first timer, foodie tour, I’ll be back for certain.
Kind Regards, Kim

We loved the tour, the information each vendor shared made us appreciate their passion even more. They were also very generous in sharing their produce with us to taste. We will definitely go back to their stores to purchase.
Although we were hoping to have Maeve, Alex was exceptional and once we started realised it didn’t matter at all, he was great.
We finished the day with lunch at Bitton, which was fantastic.

I have been looking for a place to rate the French Safari I attended on Saturday, ……In one word. Fabulous. Olivier, our guide was superb. Knowledgeable, but of course you already know that, but he was fun and very entertaining too. The presenters at each of our stops were also terrific, engaging and enthusiastic. Another great thing about this day was that there was no pressure to buy products anywhere, just informative presentations, time for questions and a browse around. Though I could have filled a truck. Thank you to all the Gourmet Safari staff, and especially Olivier

Dear Suzy & Maeve, I want to express what a fabulous day both Stephen and I had on Saturday. Alex is perfection; a wonderful tour guide, a wealth of knowledge and a lovely fellow. He made everyone feel so welcome and between him and John our day flowed beautifully. It was a treat to meet Maeve in the morning at Ocello, after watching many a Food Safari on television it was nice to see you in person. My brush with fame! We ate beautiful food, learnt a few culinary tricks and met new people. Thank you so much for a great day. We look forward to booking more tours with you.
